Colonial architecture was a product of the British Raj. Elizabethan, Gothic and Georgian style buildings, houses and public structures were introduced to India, many of which still stand today. Some examples are the Victoria Memorial in Kolkata- you have to see it to believe it. The Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, originally called the Victoria Terminus - a Gothic masterpiece. And the erstwhile viceroy's palace in Delhi- the Raj Bhawan. A little bit of India even lives on in England today, in the 'Bungalow.'
