Birla White Bio-shield Putty is based on Silver ion (Ag+) technology. Bio-shield Putty is having antimicrobial effectiveness for both Gram-positive & Gram-negative bacteria. Whenever bacteria/virus come in to contact with Bio-shield Putty surface then silver ions get released at surface & provide antimicrobial/antiviral property, that has been shown to kill/neutralize bacteria/viruses & fungi/algae. It is the positively charged silver ions (Ag+) that possess the antimicrobial effect. Silver ions target/attack microorganisms envelop/spike through several different modes of action. silver ions are incorporated into the bacterial cell membranes and bind to membrane proteins responsible for transport of substances in and out of the bacterial cells.
