Step 1: Surface Preparation
Start by cleaning the wall surface thoroughly. Remove any dust, dirt, oil, or flaking material using emery paper, a putty blade, or a wire brush.
Step 2: Pre-Wet the Surface
Dampen the wall using a brush, hose, or water mug before application. This step enhances the putty’s adhesion, workability, and finish.
Step 3: Mix the Putty
In a clean bucket, slowly add 1 kg of putty to about 360–380 ml of clean water. Mix thoroughly using a mechanical stirrer (3–5 minutes) until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency. Let the paste rest for 5 minutes before use. Use the paste within 3 to 3.5 hours.
Step 4: Apply the First Coat
Using a putty blade, apply the first coat evenly on the damp surface. Ensure that the ambient temperature doesn't exceed 40°C during application.
Step 5: Smooth the Surface
Once the first coat dries, gently smooth the surface with a wet sponge or putty blade to remove loose particles.
Step 6: Apply the Second Coat
After 3-4 hours, apply the second coat of putty. Allow it to dry fully.
Step 7: Allow Proper Drying Time
Wait at least 24 hours before painting over the putty. Drying time can vary depending on humidity and weather conditions.

Avoid using rough emery paper on the final coat, as it can damage the waterproof properties. If levelling is needed, use very fine waterproof emery paper (not less than 500 grade) gently to get that sleek, glossy white finish.
NOTE: It is suggested to have the total thickness of both coats up to 1.5mm. Additionally, NO primer is required before applying the paint.
